LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The Central Region Referees Governing Body has called upon the teams to accommodate them in their preparations for forthcoming football season.
The call has been made by the Chairperson of the Association in the Central Region, Dancun Lengani.
Lengani said to avoid scenarios in which games ended prematurely, fracas as it has been the trend in previous seasons, the men in black uniforms are calling for short courses to teams especially, Technical panels,players and supporters.
“We want to be sailing in the same boats hence calling for the short courses so that we share with them Laws of the game to avoid misunderstandings which have been there when we are executing our duties. Central Region Referees Association is ready for the season as we conducted fitness tests and reminding each other about the laws of the game”, he added
The 2022/2023 football season in Malawi opened last Saturday, March 5, 2022 with NBS Charity Shield which TNM Super League defending Champions Nyasa Big Bullets FC won it after defeating their Intercity Rivals Silver Strikers FC by a goal to nil at Kamuzu Stadium, Blantyre,Malawi.
