CFT movement dates Dedza’s Thete community on early marriages, child labour

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-After staying silence for a while Citizen for Transformation movement (CFT) in partnership with the Mlelewaka Foundation engaged Dedza’s Thete community.

Commander in Chief for the Movement who is also the Minister for National Unity Timothy Pagonachi Simbega Mtambo attended the function on Sunday, March 27, 2022.

Mtambo encouraged the parents to send the children to school in a bid to end illiteracy and early marriages.

He said parents should take up in protecting children from child labor and trafficking which is common in the area.

Executive Director for Mlelewaka Foundation appreciated the partnership with CFT Movement and promised to do more in the fight against child labor, human trafficking and early marriages.
