Malawi Covid-19 cases rise to 41

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi has recorded two new confirmed Covid-19 cases bringing the total number to 41.

Minister of Health Jappie Mhango told the news conference on Monday, May 4, 2020 in Blantyre when Vale Logistics made a donation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Medical Equipment to government valued at MK400 million.

Mhango disclosed that two are 26 year-old and 17 year-old Tanzanian nationals, a driver and his assistant respectively, who traveled into the country recently to deliver essential goods.

This means Malawi has 41 Covid-19 cases with three deaths.
