Malawi is for better education improvement

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The ministry of Education, Science and Technology had a two day joint sector review meeting from November 10 to 11 in Lilongwe with the aim of improving education in Malawi.

According to the Education Minister Susuwele Banda said that the joint sector meeting was done in order to reflect on the performance of the ministry of education when it comes to education in the country.

” Every year we set some targets and for this meeting we want to see if we have managed to fulfil our Target of this year which include building school blocks and also reclutment of teachers”, he said

He continued saying that he wants Malawi to have responsible children and also knowing that education in Malawi is improving the ministry is making sure to employ more teachers and also building school blocks.

David ber the head of DFID Malawi also said that the UK is providing them with a strong support to improve learning outcomes in Malawi.

” We are very happy to work with the Malawian government knowing that it is trying it’s best to improve education in Malawi”, he said.
