LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-UTM leader Dr Dalitso Kabambe on Sunday again assured the nation that MK100 billion allocation to each council is attainable development plan.
He said the funds will be earmarked for roads, public health, water facilities maintainance and development.
The former Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) Governor told Mgona mega rally in Lilongwe that he will not promise on issues he cannot achieve.
Dr Kabambe also disclosed that once voted into power will open five mines for fully operation aimed at generating much needed forex.
UTM leader however accused President Lazarus Chakwera of killing Malawians with hunger due to his inaction to end hunger.
He therefore assured the nation that UTM leadership will United all Malawians where public officers recruitment will be based on merit not tribe, region or nepotism.
Malawi is expected to go for general elections on September 16, 2025.
