BeForward Wanderers coach Yassin Osman this week warned his boys against complacency following the 1-0 win over Blue Eagles on Sunday. The win leaves Normads 7 points clear on the TNM Super League table.

The Blantyre-based giants picked up six maximum points in matches win against Chitipa United (2-1), and 1-0 win against Blue Eagles over the weekend.

Wanderers are now 7 points ahead of Moyale Barracks FC on 28 points from 11 matches, 8 clear of Silver Strikers and a further 10 points clear of bitterest rivals Nyasa Big Bullets.

Osman said his boys must remain focused on the objective of winning the title, despite having a big lead so early in the season.

“We must remain concentrated in the upcoming matches because this lead we have, can easily banish if we take our eye off the ball,” he advised.

Never the less, Osman expressed delight in the progress his charges have made so far this season.

“As a coach I couldn’t be happier with the level of performance and attitude my players have shown throughout the season, and we really merit our position of being leaders,” he said.
