LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi Vice President and UTM leader Dr. Saulos Chilima on Sunday told the Lilongwe Masintha mass rally that the party has not made a decision on political alliance with any party ahead of Presidential fresh elections.
Chilima disputes media reports that the party was into alliance with Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
The UTM leader hinted that any electoral alliance should be based on Malawians interests not amassing positions.
He however admits that alliance is vital to get the 50+1 votes but, “Lets have faith in ourselves before engaging others.
“Bingu, Bakili managed to get 50+1 votes lonely. Why not if everyone else. Lets trust in ourselves. So, soon will announce whether we are going alone or to partner with any party”
He sowed confusion and now he continues the Story of one Saulos chilima
Chilima’s language is changing. You connived with the judges and now we know how foolish they are to think they can order parliament around. To think they can gag MPs.
Chilima to going it alone? You have been exposed as EVIL hearted and power hungry people. Mwaona kuti plan yanu yofuna kusokoneza dziko lathu yaululika.
