Statehouse statement made available to the Maravi Post states His Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, President of the Republic of Malawi will on Monday January 18, 2016 preside over the official launch of the 2015/ 16 National Forestry Season.
According to the statement, the ceremony will be held at Masasa CCAP Primary School Ground in the area of Traditional Authority Masasa in Ntcheu district.
President Peter Mutharika is expected to arrive at the venue at 9:30 in the morning. All guests are requested to be seated by 8:30am.
The Statement further states the President will travel to Balaka district where he is expected to officially commission the Balaka Cotton Ginnery.
President Mutharika will arrive at the Ginnery at about One O’clock in the afternoon. Activities to mark the official opening of the Ginnery will take place at Balaka L.E.A School ground. Guests are being requested to be seated by 12 noon.
