LILONGWE ( MaraviPost): A grouping called Mbadwa za a Malawi is set to present petition to parliament to force the President of Malawi Lazarus Chakwera to remove Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)Martha Chizuma.

Leader of the Grouping, Redson told journalist in Lilongwe on Wednesday during a press briefing.

Munlo said the office of the president should remove Chizuma with immediate effect for violating her oath of office in the leaked telephone conversation in which she made a lot of allegations of bribery by our judiciary.

He said according to court in Mzuzu the leaked audio and the conversation have some sort of element of criminality.

He said they are surprised that the  ACB Director was able to get an injunction stopping Police to interrogate her.

He said after presenting the petition they will proceed to ACB to present  the petition to Chizuma to force her to stepdown.
