LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Blue Eagles Football Club executive Committee’s chairman Alexander Ngwala has applauded the technical panel and players for successful first round of 2022 TNM Super League.

Despite a painful one nil defeat to TN Stars away in Kasungu on Sunday, July 10, 2022 which ended their unbeaten run of the season.

Ngwala said the technical panel and players deserve a hand of applause for finishing second on the log table with 30 points.

The area 30 outfit have managed to win 8 games,fours games at home over Silver Strikers FC 1-0, Mighty Waka-Waka Tigers, Rumphi United and Karonga United.

Four away wins against MAFCO FC 1-0,Moyale Barracks FC 1-0,Red Lions 4-1 and Sable Farming FC 2-1.

Eagles have shared spoils in 6 games 4 at home against Nyasa Big Bullets FC,Civil Service United,Ekwendeni Hammers and Kamuzu Barracks FC and 2 away at Kamuzu Stadium against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Dedza Dynamos at Balaka Stadium.The cops suffered only one defeat against TN Stars 1-0 away at Kasungu Stadium.

They have scored 18 goals and conceded 6,Captain Schumacher Kuwali and Gaddie Chirwa have both scored 4 goals each.

With the record above, Ngwala described it as remarkable taking into consideration that,the team struggled with relegation in 2021 season surviving on last day when they defeated Mighty Wanderers 1-3 at Kamuzu Stadium.

“We are still in the race,let me ask SULOM to level the play ground in terms of fixtures, they shouldn’t favor any team,other players were released before Flames left the country to play for their respective clubs but it was a different story with ours and also they denied the request to delay the games,there is too much politics at SULOM in the way they conduct their duties especially on fixtures”,

“Let me urge the players to engage extra gear in the next round and also cup games FDH Bank and Airtel top 8,we have quality players who we believe will represent us well. Since season is long if technical panel recommend for beefing up the squad we are ready to do so”, Ngwala narrated.

Blue Eagles FC have finished round one of the 2022 TNM Superleague season with 30 points from 15 games 11 adrift leaders Nyasa Big Bullets FC who have 41.
