MZUZU-(MaraviPost)-UTM leader Dr Dalitso Kabambe has pledged to establish “Malawi Development Bank” aiming at supporting locals for financial needs.
Kabambe disclosed the state-own bank will provide soft loans for small business towards economic independent.
The UTM leader made the pledge at Chintheche Market in Nkhata Bay.
The former Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) Governor added that the banks’ loans will have low interest rate to invigorate businesses among locals.
During the campaign tour, Kabambe was along with his running Dr Matthews Mtumbuka.
He is the Northern region wooing votes ahead of September 16 polls.
