BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-The embattled Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Martha Chizuma has been used and dumped for political interests by Tonse Alliance government not that of the public.
Chizuma could have not trusted President Lazarus Chakwera’s Malawi Congress Party (MCP) when she accepted the appointment in the first place.
MCP has cruelty history towards those advance justice for locals. She could keep always in mind.
Despite Chakwera noisy of supporting corruption fight drive, Chizuma could not be arrested on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in a Pijama.
Listen Malawi, do not listen to Gospel Kazako’s noisy that Chakwera government is not aware of Chizuma arrest. Total lie!
Chakwera and Kazako’s statements are just the result of public outrage.
Chizuma was arrested today after she lined up warrant of arrest on MCP members including cabinet ministers.
I can comfortably disclosed that starting from December 6, 2022 there were impending arrests of the following people by ACB:
- Eisenhower Mkaka
- Richard Chimwendo Banda.
- Nancy Tembo
- Kumbize Chiponda
- Former State house director General Prince Kapondagaga.
- Two high court judges.
- Energy Principal Secretary Alfonso Chizuma
- National Oil Company of Malawi (NOCMA) directors
- Secretary to The President and Cabinet (SPC) Collen Zamba.
Chakwera was aware that Chizuma would be arrested this morning as a way of distracting her execution of the arrests and without fear can confirm that Chakwera was part of the team that hatching the plan to pounce on her
As a face saver following the pressure from donors, Chakwera’s machinery has devised a plan to distance himself from the arrest of Chizuma, alleging he was not aware and was bypassed.
Chizuma cannot be arrested without the Inspector General Briefing the President and the President being ignorant as Commander in Chief.
ACB ceazar Martha Chizuma was supposed to meet President Chakwera today to brief him of the arrest of his cabinet ministers and questioning some of his family members by ACB.
This is a calculated move also to deal with her after Chimila’s arrest.
Chakwera and MCP want to have easy pathway to 2025 polls by getting rid of potential take over per Tonse Alliance agreement that Chakwera will have on term then pass to Chilima.
Today’s arrest is the 2025 pathway script.
Therefore, Chizuma must step down to save her image before the public.
stepping down is not a sign of a cowardice, no but integrity.
Chizuma has so far proved to be strong but she work with government that just support on paper.
It’s not too late for her to resign.
She has not be taken away with overpraise receiving now.
Chizuma, once again cannot win corruption fight via social media but corroboration work with the Office of Attorney General (AG), Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Police and other prosecuting agencies.
